CHARLES PINKNEY (PINK) BROOKS (1871-1962) married RUTH MATTHEWS BROOKS (1874-1959). They had eight children, seven of whom are buried in Freeman Cemetery. Robert L. Brooks and his wife, Suzie Swearingen Brooks (1912-2002) are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon, Tennessee.

Ieula Brooks Lee and Herbert Lee had a daughter named Anne, who married Truman (Dick) Stark, and they live in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Mayo Brooks Kilgore and Carl Kilgore have a daughter, Ruth Ann Williamson Jones, who still lives near Freeman Cemetery. Ruth Ann's son Derek Williamson and grandson Casey Williamson, who also live in the community, are groundskeepers for the cemetery.
Robert L. Brooks and Suzie Swearingen Brooks had two daughters. Robbie Sue Brooks Dawson and her husband, Collier Dawson, currently live in Franklin, Tennessee. Cherry Brooks Jackson and her husband, Jimmy Jackson, live in Thompson Station, Tennessee.
